Need a hand with Skill Hive? Email dev.hiveminds@gmail.com — one inbox for support, bug reports, and privacy or terms questions. Email · support
dev.hiveminds@gmail.comThe one human channel — support, bug reports, feature ideas, and privacy, terms and GDPR data-rights requests.
// 01Get in touch
One human channel handles everything: dev.hiveminds@gmail.com. Use it for support, bug reports, feature ideas, and privacy or terms questions. There's no phone line or 24/7 desk, so email is the fastest way to reach a person, and GDPR requests are answered within the one-month deadline.
When you report a bug, a few details get it fixed faster:
- your platform — iOS, the web app, the Android APK, or Telegram;
- the app version you're on;
- the steps that trigger it, and what you expected versus what happened;
- any error text, screenshot or crash detail you can paste in.
// 02Your data & backups
Skill Hive is local-first: your training log lives on your device and works fully without an account. Sign in with Google, Apple or Telegram only if you want to sync across devices — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what's stored when you do.
Settings → Backup exports a complete, machine-readable copy of your log, as a file download or a snapshot to your own Google Drive. Most data rights are self-serve, no e-mail required:
- Access & portability — Settings → Backup.
- Consent withdrawal — Settings → Usage analytics (analytics is opt-in and off by default).
Servers run in the EU, there are no ads, and your data is never sold. For anything you can't complete in the app — access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction or objection — write to dev.hiveminds@gmail.com; we respond within the GDPR's one-month deadline.
// 03Supported platforms
Skill Hive is the same app everywhere:
- iOS — Skill Hive on the App Store.
- Web app — a PWA at app.skillhive.one; runs in modern browsers, add it to your home screen on iOS or desktop, no install.
- Android — a direct .apk download from skillhive.one, no app store in between, rebuilt and re-signed with every release.
- Telegram — the full app as a Mini App plus the bot @skillhive_robot, which signs you in automatically on load.
Legal terms live in the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy; this website hosts the landing and legal pages.
// 04Frequently asked questions
How do I get help, report a bug, or send crash info?
Email dev.hiveminds@gmail.com — one inbox for support, bug reports, and privacy or terms questions. Keep it concise so we can help faster.
For a bug or crash, tell us your platform (iOS, web, Android APK or Telegram), the app version, the steps that triggered it, and what you expected versus what happened. Any error text, screenshot or crash detail you can paste in helps.
Do I need an account, and how do I sign in?
An account is optional — the app is fully functional on your device without one. To sync across devices, sign in with Google, Apple or Telegram. Inside the Telegram Mini App you're signed in automatically the moment it loads.
Does the app work offline?
Yes. Skill Hive is local-first: every set, timer and your full history live on your device and run at full speed with no connection. Anything you log offline syncs the next time you're online, if you've signed in.
How do I sync my workouts across my phone, laptop and Telegram?
Sync is optional. Sign in with the same provider — Google, Apple or Telegram — on each device and your log mirrors so every device converges to the same history. Deterministic per-row conflict resolution is designed to avoid duplicates and lost sets, even if you logged on two devices while offline.
One of my devices isn't syncing — what should I check?
Check two things first: that you're signed in with the same provider on that device, and that it has reconnected to the internet — offline sets stay in local storage and only push once you're back online. If it's still stuck, sign out and back in; you can also review and end your account's active sessions.
How do I back up and restore my training data?
Open Settings → Backup to export a complete, machine-readable copy of your log — as a downloadable file or as a snapshot to your own Google Drive. Drive snapshots live in your Google account (we can't read them) and stay under your control.
To restore or move to a new device, the simplest route is to sign in there — your synced data flows back down automatically. Otherwise, restore from the file or Drive snapshot you saved.
The AI Coach gave a suggestion that looks off — should I follow it?
Treat it as guidance, not gospel. The Coach's advice is generated automatically from your log by an AI model and can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable for you — it's fitness guidance, not medical advice, so use your judgment and consult a doctor when in doubt. It never changes your log without your tap: every change is shown as a diff you approve first.
How do I install Skill Hive on my phone?
A few ways to run Skill Hive:
- iOS — install Skill Hive from the App Store.
- Web app — open app.skillhive.one in your browser. It runs as a PWA; on iOS, use Share → Add to Home Screen. No install, and it updates to the latest version automatically.
- Android — download the .apk directly from the landing page (skillhive.one); it's rebuilt and re-signed with every release. The first time, your phone may ask you to allow installs from your browser.
You can also run the full app as a Mini App inside Telegram.
