Delete your account or data

Skill Hive · Hive Mindset

This page lets you request deletion even if you no longer have the app. You can close your Skill Hive account and erase all associated data, or ask us to erase selected data while keeping your account. Self-service account deletion is immediate; assisted requests are free and completed within 30 days after we verify account ownership.

Delete my Skill Hive account

This closes the account and removes the data associated with it:

account profile and linked sign-in identities;
sessions and device-linking records;
synced workouts, exercises, sets, skills, notes and settings;
Telegram bot drafts and account-linked analytics;
any historical PostHog person and events created by earlier builds.

Verify the existing account you want to delete. This does not create a new Skill Hive account and does not grant this page access to your training data.

Delete selected training data

Keep your account and remove individual synced records:

workouts and sets;
exercises and custom skills;
training notes and related history entries.

These records can be deleted directly in the app or web app. If you cannot access them, send a request and support will verify ownership and help you complete the same synced deletion without closing the account.

Request data deletion

Account deletion above is self-service and immediate after ownership verification. Assisted requests to delete selected training records while keeping the account are handled within 30 days after ownership verification. Never send us a password, one-time code, OAuth token or Google password.

Account deletion is also available without contacting support:

Open Skill Hive and sign in to the account you want to delete.
Open Settings → Delete all data.
Select Delete everywhere & close account and confirm.

The server erases the account and associated active data first. Skill Hive then wipes the app data on that device. You can also delete individual workouts, sets, exercises, skills and notes in the app while keeping your account; those deletions sync to your other devices.

Individually deleted sync rows	A deletion marker prevents old devices from restoring the record, then the row is physically purged.	30 days.
Account-linked analytics	First-party events are erased; deletion of any historical PostHog person/events is queued.	Within 30 days after ownership verification.
Operational database backups	Backups are not rewritten; they expire through automatic rotation.	30 days or less (normally 14 days).
Consent audit record	A pseudonymous proof of consent may be retained for legal compliance. It contains no email, provider identity or training content.	Retained only as legally necessary.

// 04Data outside our control

Google Drive backups are stored in your own Google Drive. Skill Hive cannot read or delete them; remove them directly in Google Drive.
Local device data remains under your control. Remove it with Settings → Delete all data → This device, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app.
Deleting Skill Hive does not delete your Google, Apple or Telegram account. It only removes the sign-in link held by Skill Hive.
